What happens if the number of guests changes?

Accepted Answer

You can adjust the number of guests directly in your reservation confirmation email – for example from 3 to 4 people – provided the change is made by 6:00 pm on the previous evening and seats are still available. For later changes, please contact us directly.

Do I need to choose 5 or 7 courses in advance?

Accepted Answer

No. You can decide together with our service team at the table whether you would like to enjoy the 5-course or 7-course menu. No advance commitment is required.

How are allergies handled?

Accepted Answer

Please let us know about allergies and intolerances directly in the dedicated field of our online reservation form. We review each request individually and adapt the menu within our possibilities. Our kitchen is familiar with the most common allergens: nuts of all kinds, shellfish and crustaceans, fish, celery, gluten, lactose and others.

Is there a vegetarian menu?

A purely vegetarian menu is unfortunately not possible. Our menu is conceived as a whole composition in which fish plays a central role. We can omit meat as well as shellfish and crustaceans – fish, however, is an integral part of the menu.

Can you prepare the menu without meat?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are happy to prepare the menu without meat. Fish remains part of the experience – which is also why a purely vegetarian menu is not possible. If you would like two different versions of the menu at the same table – one classic, one without meat – that is of course possible.

Is there a dress code?

We do not impose a binding dress code – but we recommend refined evening attire in the spirit of "smart casual" or "business casual". A jacket is welcome but not required; sporty casual wear is not suited to the occasion.

Children are welcome at Restaurant 141, provided they also enjoy our menu. We are unable to offer separate children's dishes.

Dogs are unfortunately not permitted in our gourmet restaurant. The other restaurants and hotel areas of Alpenresort Schwarz offer dog-friendly options.

Restaurant 141 has 20 seats. The intimate size is intentional and ensures every guest receives the full attention of our kitchen and service team.

When is the restaurant open?

We are open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The restaurant opens at 6:45 pm, and the menu begins at 7:00 pm.

Are there any closing periods?

Yes. Our closing periods for 2026 and 2027: until 26 June 2026; July – 7 August 2026; until 6 November 2026; December 2026 – 19 January 2027.

What are the cancellation terms?

Should your plans change, the table can be cancelled free of charge until 6:00 pm on the previous evening. For later cancellations or no-shows, we will charge € 125 per person.

Do I need a credit card guarantee?

Yes. To confirm your reservation, you provide a credit card as guarantee. It is only charged if you cancel after 6:00 pm on the previous evening or fail to appear – in which case € 125 per person will be charged.

How much does a menu at Restaurant 141 cost?

We offer two menus to choose from: 5-course menu € 194 per person; 7-course menu € 225 per person. Beverages and pairings are not included in the menu price.

Can you omit shellfish and crustaceans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Shellfish and crustaceans such as oysters, mussels, carabineros or scallops can be removed from the menu and replaced accordingly. Please mention this when reserving.

Can individual courses be replaced or omitted?

Our menu is conceived as a whole composition – swapping individual courses on request is therefore only possible to a limited extent. For allergies and intolerances, however, we almost always find a solution. Share your wishes when reserving and we will assess what can be done.

Do you offer a wine pairing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our sommelière accompanies the menu with selected wines. The pairing is not included in the menu price and is settled separately on the evening.

Is there a non-alcoholic pairing?

Yes. We offer a non-alcoholic pairing tailored to each menu – with specially crafted beverages. As with our wine pairing, this is not included in the menu price.

Of course. Alongside our wine pairing, you can select individual bottles or glasses from our wine list. Our sommelier team is happy to advise you.

Most warmly. An evening at Restaurant 141 is made for special occasions: anniversaries, birthdays, engagements and personal milestones. Let us know the occasion when reserving – and, if you wish, the level of discretion with which the team should acknowledge it.

We love birthdays and will gladly mark the evening with a small surprise, an amuse from the kitchen or a discreet candle on the dessert – just as you wish. If you would rather keep things low-key, we naturally respect that and shape the evening without visible attention.

With pleasure. We discreetly support the staging – for example by serving the ring with the dessert or reserving a quieter table. Please send us a confidential email to concierge@schwarz.at so we can plan the evening together.

Yes. You can drop off or send us flowers, a box, a gift or a card in advance. We keep everything discreetly and bring it to the table at the desired moment.

Raised in Tyrol, he began his apprenticeship at Alpenresort Schwarz and shaped his signature through stations with Heinz Reitbauer (Steirereck), Christian Bau (Schloss Berg) and Christian Jürgens (Überfahrt). Since October 2023 he has been back in Mieming, leading Restaurant 141 to two Michelin stars.
